From the Pastor…

The Lord has blessed Cindy and I with over 30 years of marriage. She is God’s perfect gift to me. In His wisdom, the Lord chose a wife for me whom He had already prepared to be my helpmate in the ministry. He did this long before either of us knew that I would be called. Cindy is blessed by the Holy Spirit with the gift of administration. That gift allows me to focus on Bible study and writing, knowing that office matters are well-handled and organized.  She is more gifted that she will admit; I am more blessed than she will ever know.

Cindy graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Education.  She has been a teacher in some capacity ever since. When our children were young, Cindy moved away from teaching in the schools so she could homeschool our children. Today, she works as a reading and math “interventionist” in the public schools, working with children in small groups to bring their reading and math skills up to grade level.

Cindy is overjoyed by the grace of God to her through the cross of Jesus Christ. The day He showed her that she was under grace-not law-was the day He set her free. She loves to worship through songs that speak of His powerful grace to us.
