The Lord always fulfills His promises. He has promised that the church would always have everything it needs. We are one body, with many parts. Elena “Lumy” came to us by the Lord’s will and purpose in her life and for this church. After worshipping with us only a short time, she expressed her heart’s desire to help with the worship. The Lord was at work, I knew, and she began to help with worship the following Sunday. Since then, our previous worship leader had to step down, and Lumy was already prepared by the Lord to take her place.
In our church, the ministries belong to those whom the Lord has chosen. Lumy chooses our songs, leading us each Sunday to the throne of God for praise and adoration. I am amazed, though I shouldn’t be, at how well the songs support the sermon and God’s message to His church. Gifted with a beautiful voice, we are blessed and humbled by God to have Lumy serving among us. He is faithful! He always provides!
