At Life Talk Ministries, we're always happy to welcome new visitors, and we hope you will join us for worship and the Word of God. We are all about Jesus! His grace to us for salvation and life has made us into an excited, joyful family of God. We believe that you will feel comfortable from the moment you enter in, until our final unified declaration, "We'll see you here, there, or in the air, because Jesus Christ is Lord!" Sunday morning worship service begins at 10:00 and ends at 11:15. We take Holy Communion at every service, and all Christians are invited to join us at the Lord's table.
As Pastor of Life Talk Ministries, I want you to know that I preach Grace alone. Grace is the covenant made possible by the death and resurrection of Jesus. It is the covenant for believers--those who have faith in Jesus. In contrast, the Law is the covenant between non-believers and God. These two covenants encompass the entire world's population. Our covenant of Grace is not about what we have to do; it's about what God has already done through the cross of His only Son. It's all about Jesus becoming salvation for us, for we could never save ourselves. Grace is rich--even overflowing--with blessings and assurances in Christ. I am eager to share with you the nature of this kingdom in which we dwell. I'm excited to teach the true miracle of baptism from God's point of view. I'm overjoyed to explain the Sabbath-rest, and so many other gifts and truths that are already ours in Christ. If you feel the Holy Spirit urging you to come, please don't hesitate. You'll be glad you did.
Jesus told His disciples that He would build His church. I rest upon that declaration. Therefore, I can assure you that coming to visit means you will be free to worship and learn. Unfortunately, some churches are heavily focused on growth, rather than on teaching and encouraging. When you come to Life Talk Ministries, it will be my joy to introduce myself and get to meet you. But you'll not be pressured in any way. I trust Jesus to provide the flock that I shepherd.
Our church is a family. We pray for each other and celebrate life together. We do a lot of laughing and smiling, and we find support as we mourn our losses. When you come, just come as you are. Our service is all about Jesus--its not about us. Casual, modest dress is perfect for worship.
